Post-Modern Artists

Post-modern art wanted to change the ideals of Modern art. The grown social abilities has brought the world together in the overall knowledge of what is currently being accomplished in art today. Artist's have access to one another and the popularities of art is evident. Art is being mainstreamed and I feel Post-Modern art is still very much looming around today.

Modern Artists

There was a lot that happened during Modern Art's time period. Many new sub-movements and many many artist's. There was alot of "new" art. Technology was beginning to speed up and commerce was growing. There was war and social uplifting. Art become strong and important to society. Fighting its way to compete with the growing world. Documentation became easier and art found its way into the homes of the everyday people. Genres were born and histories were written. I am taking a class along with this one that studies art of the later 20th century!
